1982 Thomsen
2001-C boom, (33m). The pump is a 1994 Putzmeister conversion kit powered by a
separate Cat 3208 engine. The truck is a 1977 Peterbilt with a 3306A CAT
engine. We completely re-did the back of the truck a year before we parked it
with new air lines, brakes, crossmembers, driveline etc.
Also, we replaced
the S-tube, cutting ring, wear plate and pump piston cups in 2009 and we’ve
only put about 700 metres through it since then. The pipes are in average
shape, I would estimate about 60%. Some are quite new, some not so much. It has
both a cord remote and an Omnex wireless remote. It passed its last annual boom
inspection and CVI inspection. Both are now expired. This unit has not
been used since 2010, though we did unfold it in 2013 and everything worked at
that time.
